The Best Comfort Things

Since I’m feeling ill and crappy at the moment, I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes me feel better when all I want to do is curl up on the sofa and keep warm. What makes me feel better is just getting lost in a good book, eating chocolate, and good home cooked food. Recently, I’ve been craving things like chicken and sweetcorn soup, tomato and mozarella pasta, pasta and more pasta (but then, when don’t I crave pasta??), lots of tea, crumpets, nutella slathered on the aforementioned crumpets, chilli with pasta shells, cinnamon buns and satsumas. I know I don’t have to write anything huge, but sometimes it feels like cheating if I just include a quote or a picture, but at the moment I don’t have much energy. It looks like I wrote ‘I know’ on repeat there.

The best comfort things, for me, are:
