The Creative License

Danny Gregory’s book is one of those books that will inspire you to take up drawing and journaling. It is a book that encourages you to draw and write outside the lines – to go back to the beginning and start again, to renew your acquaintance with your art form. It could apply to anything creative that you love doing – writing, drawing, sculpture, photography, etc. He encourages you to recognise that everything creative we do is different, even our style of drawing and writing – everyone is different even if they are doing the same task. No life is too small or uneventful enough not to be recorded. His book really inspires me when I read it, it makes me want to go around recording every small happening in a day, every tiny thing I notice and makes me look at the mundane in a new way.
