Since Christmas is coming up, I imagine that getting your hands on £40,000 wouldn’t go amiss. What would you do with it? Would you save it or spend it?
I have a wish list as long as my arms in the lead up to Christmas, but I know that I’ll only get a few things from it. If I had £40000, I would probably use part of it to have a Christmas to remember – I would buy the things that my family really want or need. My dream camera is a DSLR, but I know that my sister wants one; after all, she is the photographer in the family. I would love a MacBook or a Mac – ever since seeing Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex and the City with her snazzy laptop typing her next article, it seemed like the ‘dream’ item, especially considering my writerly ambitions! I would buy my partner a PS3, my Mum a new family computer, and my Dad a few tickets to see his favourite bands. If there was enough left over, I might organise a trip to see the Northern Lights – it is one of those things I would love to do.
Apart from that, £40,000 would allow me to go a bit crazy buying shoes and clothes! I’m writing this post to draw attention to a PayPal promotion where if you buy something using Paypal, you are eligible to be entered into a prize draw to win £40,000. The draw happens weekly, so if you’re doing some Christmas shopping online, you may want to choose PayPal as your payment option. The more times you use PayPal, the more chances you get to win @40,000. Just go to www.paypal.co.uk/win to find out more.
